DEVILS RESULTS – Season 2005/6
 
Under-10 A
League WINNERS in CENTRAL Region
Well placed for the U-10 National Finals with the final day
set for 9th September.
 
Under-10 B
The Development Team for Devils performed well all season
and won the FAIR PLAY TROPHY. Also reached the Quarter-
Finals of the Nationals.
 
Under-12
A great season, finishing RUNNERS-UP in the League with an
impressive record:- Ply 20 W 19 D 1 L 0 F 139 A 30 Pts 38
and a commendable 3rd Place in the National Finals
 
Under-14
Two Teams playing at Salford and finished Joint 3rd on Points
at Salford but missed out on Goals scored for a Nationals
place. Won the Skipsea Open U14 Tournament. The U14B
competed well all season despite a small squad.(For the B's read Flintshire below)
 
Under-16
The Team lost their first 6 games in the League which totally
removed any chance of Nationals qualification. However, the
second half of the season was a great improvement and
included the 7-1 drubbing of Preston. Final Place – 5th.
 
Under-18A
 fantastic season, finishing RUNNERS-UP to Chaddy
Wildsharks and earning a National Finals place. In addition,
3 members of the squad representated the Region in the allconquering
Super-League Team.
 
Under-21
The Team finished in 4th Place in the League but qualified for
the Nationals. The highlight was a Group Match win over
eventual Runners-Up Graves Flames (with 1.1 second to go!)
Seniors(Plate Nationals)
 
The Seniors 
finished in 3rd spot in the League, narrowly
missing out on a Nationals Place. However they did compete
in the Senior Plate Nationals, taking the Runners-Up spot
after playing some of their best Hockey of the season.
 
FLINTSHIRE
 
Under-12
Great season – 2nd in the League and 4th
Place in the National Finals. Well done guys!
 
Under-14
Both the Under-14 A’s (Qualifyed for the GB Nationals but were unable to field a team at short notice) and B’s gained
valuable experience playing in a toughLeague. And the B's had a unforgettabe win over the A's.
